The Truth About the 7-Minute Workout

New York Times and many other credible sources speak of the 7-minute workout and how it is sufficient to keep your body to undergo the same as a visit to the gym (cardio + strength conditioning), but it’s WRONG WRONG WRONG.


The 7-minute workout is supposedly executed in only 7 minutes. What they don’t tell you is that it is just a marketable scheme. This actually needs to be circuited 3 times to receive the sufficient amount of body weight. But what happens if you are already athletic? Well, it is better than doing absolutely nothing, but it is in where comparable to an actual visit to the gym.

However, if you take a look at the exercises, you can see it does a decent job working out every muscle group. This workout is actually can suffice if you have been sedentary for over 3 months because your muscles have atrophied. Since your muscles haven’t been properly used in 3 months, you can use it kickstart your muscles. And because you’re not compounding it with additional weight (just body weight), the delayed onset muscular soreness (DOMS) will be less severe.

So who is this exercise good for?

– People who have not worked out for 3+ months

– People who are content with their current body weight and body image

– People who are becoming more fragile and cannot lift weights

– Bitches who think lifting weights will make you look muscular instantly…
